Social Influence in Student Arisan Groups

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social influence in student groups in Palangka Raya. The research was carried out in Palangka Raya. From the research conducted, it was found that identity is very important in student groups, especially in arisan groups. This identity then exists because the arisan groups start from the style, trend, hangout place, how many arisan people are joined and so on. The arisan chairman has a big influence in influencing the members of the arisan to follow all his orders under the pretext of the interests of the arisan activity. The strong friendship between the chairman and other members makes them enter into a system where someone is in control and someone is controlled.
