The Role of the Village Government in the Development of Local Transmigration (Translokal) in Tuwung Village, Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency

Abstract

This research aims to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the village government in the development of local transmigration in the Tuwung Village area, the informants in this study were the village head and other village officials. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The Tuwung Village government through the Village Head who is the leader of the implementation of Local Transmigration development in Tuwung Village, has carried out its duties, functions and roles as village government officials in the development of Local Transmigration in Tuwung Village. In carrying out its role, the Village Government also requires support from the community and also support from the government in terms of development implementation funds, so that the planning and implementation of development carried out by the Tuwung Village Government can run properly, correctly, efficiently and effectively. He results of the study illustrate that the Tuwung Village Government implements utilization in the development of local transmigration, the Tuwung Village Government encounters supporting and inhibiting factors, namely: the government supports the Local Transmigration program; there is support from some community members in order to support the development of local transmigration, while the inhibiting factor in development is the low level of community resources regarding the importance of local transmigration development so that it has an impact on the slow development process; there is still a lack of houses, facilities, facilities and infrastructure in the village
